DEN
redefining tradition
Den married James in the summer of 2023 at Parnassus, a breathtaking venue nestled among lush greenery and rolling hills, just an hour’s drive from Melbourne. Known for its beautiful natural scenery and intimate atmosphere, Parnassus was the perfect setting for Den’s Ceremony and Reception.
As the oldest of my two sisters, Den has always forged her own path. So, when it came to her wedding, she knew she wanted a non-traditional wedding dress for her curvy bodytype. Together, we created a dress that was romantic, effortless, and, made her feel wildly confident.
decisions on the design.
The foundation of Den’s gown was a structured bodice designed to support and highlight her curves. But it was the fabric—an exquisite dusty pink silk organza—that truly brought her vision to life. The fabric draped over her like a soft, weightless cloud, moving with her effortlessly and catching the breeze in the most enchanting way.
Den’s gown featured a plunging neckline that celebrated her figure, while hand-draped layers of organza rippled beautifully across her silhouette. As she walked, the sunlight filtered through the organza layers, creating a natural glow that made her look as if she were lit from within—a perfect match for the joy and love she radiated.
Final notes
Den’s gown was far from ordinary—it was a true celebration of their love.
Watching her marry James in a gown that truly let her shine was worth every minute of creating this beautiful piece.
Thank you, Den, for believing in your little sis to design the dress of your dreams, you were absolutely glowing xx
