As a child, I was captivated by the sound of my mother’s sewing machine. She taught me everything she knew, and I grew up believing that fabric, in the right hands, could hold something real.
She learned to sew in Sisophon, Cambodia, in the years after the Khmer Rouge, when so much of the country’s art and skill had been lost. SISO carries that name, and that inheritance lives in every stitch I make.
I trained and worked across international design studios and ateliers, eventually managing a bridal workroom where I led fittings, built teams and brought countless wedding gowns to life. But I had never made anything that was truly mine. SISO Studio is that.
Every gown is designed, patterned, cut, sewn and fitted by my hands alone. No team, no production line, no outsourcing. Just your vision, and the months of quiet, careful work between us.
Your gown should tell the truth about your love. Not a version of someone else’s dress, or a silhouette from a sample rack, but something that begins with a conversation and ends as something made only for you.
That is what I make.
