Frequently asked questions

  • A Bespoke wedding gown is made-to-measure from scratch to fit your measurements, style preferences, and vision, unlike off-the-rack dresses that are mass-produced in standard sizes, or Customised gowns where you can only change certain elements.
At SISO Studio, every gown is tailored just for you from beginning to end.

  • We recommend booking your consultation at least 8-12 months from Booking to Wedding Date to allow time for design, fittings, and final touches. For tighter timelines, please Contact Us to discuss rush order options.

  • Our process begins with an initial Design Consultation to discuss your vision, followed by fabric selection, digital sketches, measurement and fittings. The gown will be ready for collection 2-4 weeks before your wedding date. Each gown is handmade in Melbourne, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship from start to finish.

  • Absolutely! We love working with brides who want to push boundaries, and we can create gowns in a variety of colours, styles, and unconventional designs.

  • We work with luxury fabrics like Silk, Tulle, Mikado, French lace, crepe de chine, embroidered and embellished lace. Each fabric is carefully curated and offered as a standard.

  • Every SISO Studio gown is handmade from design, pattern, cut, sew, fitting and finish here in Melbourne, Australia, using traditional couture techniques and modern technology for impeccable results.

  • Unless you are a perfect “Standard” size (let’s be real, this is rare) then an off the rack gown will need to be altered, usually resulting unproportioned design lines and elements, charged on top of your gown cost.
A Bespoke wedding gown is designed with deep meaning and made specifically for you, ensuring a perfect fit and a completely unique design. Bespoke is not mass produced, it is slow and intentional.

  • Each bespoke gown is a reflection of exceptional craftsmanship, individuality, and quality. Pricing is determined by the complexity of the design, choice of fabrics, and production timeline. Additional costs may apply for last-minute requests, changes in design, or extra fittings requested by the client.
